On Thursday afternoon a team of 12 intrepid Parkside swimmers took to the challenge of the annual swimming Gala. They dreamed, believed and most definitely achieved an amazing second place; narrowly missing out on the top spot by only six seconds. The year 5 and 6 pupils Lily, Amiee, Sammy, Callum, Jimmi, Lexi, Caden, Imogen, Carmen, Reuben, Keeley and Ashleigh made up the determined squad and had this to say: "At today's swimming gala, we dreamed, believed and achieved a fantastic second place. Each team member tried their hardest and showed a great deal of sportsmanship...making us all proud to be Parkside."
