Kids Club

Parkside Kids Club was originally set up by a previous head mistress and parent committee who had the vision to see that there would be a growing demand for good quality out of school provision in the future.

Our aim has and always will be to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for all our children.  We are registered with Ofsted and on our most recent inspection in December 2021 we were awarded “Good” in our overall outcome.  The report commented that "The club is welcoming and calm, and children arrive happily."

All staff are qualified in childcare and hold current food hygiene and first aid certificates. As part of the Parkside Primary School family our staff feel very proud of all our children and are delighted to still be serving our local community after 25 years.

We are located in the school's West Wing so feel free to come and see us at any time.

Our opening times are from 7.45am until 9am and 3.30pm until 6pm,  Monday to Friday term time only.

Children are escorted and collected from their classes (reception to year 6) by Kids Club staff.  Children can join in our themed activities, do their homework or just relax and play.

A light snack and drink is provided at both sessions.  Breakfast club costs £4.50 per session including breakfast.  An after school session costs £8.00 per session including snack.
