There are now lots more ways to play at break times thanks to a makeover on the West Wing playground. The new colourful and hardwearing markings create the basis of a variety of games such as snakes and ladders, hopscotch and even a track with fitness stations. Julia Popova, school council secretary explained how they got together ideas from others in the school as to what they would like to see, and put them forward to be considered. Now it is complete, she thinks “it is much better and brighter.” Ben Merrill, chair of the school council is also pleased with the changes. He said “It’s great, there’s now a lot more things to do.”
