Year 3 & 4 Nutrition Day

Tasty and nutritious treats created by Year 3 and 4 pupils.

The Nutrition Day on Monday was a great success with all of the pupils involved working hard to devise tasty and nutritious recipes. They looked at the health benefits of different ingredients, worked on the cooking methods and then used the recipes to make delicious items such as omelette muffins, brownies, macaroni cheese and smoothies. How to make Ham & Cheese Omelette Muffins by Saiva Aispure Ingredients • 1 egg • A small handful of ham cut up into small squares • Grated cheddar cheese Method 1. First, carefully crack an egg into a cup but make sure you don’t put any shell in. 2. Next, add a tiny bit of ham. 3. Then, add a small bit of cheese. 4. After that, whisk them altogether slowly. 5. After, gently pour it into a baking tray. 6. Then, cautiously put it into the oven for 20 minutes. 7. Next, take it out of the oven. 8. Finally ENJOY!!!!
